Those members of Newhall Community Church who are unable to attend services or church functions because of physical limitations are visited by the Pastor of Congre-gational Care on a regular basis, or other church personnel when needed, and provided DVDs of services each week if they request them.
Meals or other household assistance can also be provided by volunteers in an effort to help those in the Newhall family recover from illnesses and impairments.
For those who need canned goods or groceries, the Food Pantry at Newhall is open the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10:00am to Noon. Please help yourself to the pantry shelves or the freezer where groceries are kept.
Donations of canned goods, hygienic products, peanut butter and other boxed and sealed packages are accepted. Bring items to the pantry in the basement or place them in the green cart in the Fellowship Room.
Your continued support helps those who need assistance. Know that you are helping someone who needs it when you give.
Newhall members participate in many community events from fundraisers to barbeques to sponsorship of programs to community prayer vigils. Being a part of the ministry of Jesus Christ means sharing with others the gifts and blessings which are available to us.
We strongly believe that God created each of us with unique abilities to serve Him and His church. At Newhall Community Church, there is always a way for you to serve.
INTERNATIONAL MISSION OUTREACH
Being a church without welcoming others would mean that we aren't being the church that Christ wants. We welcome all those in our community to help give Christ's love to others throughout the world.
We support missionaries in Taiwan, Columbia, South America, and Greece. We are called to become disciples according to Jesus Christ. So, in addition to discipling people locally, we have also had mission trips where Newhall people have served in Honduras, New Jersey, Missouri, New York, and Alabama.
